We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the musicians who have performed at the last summer Cafe's at the Corinth Academy and the East Corinth Agricultural & Trades Museum in the village as well as these new monthly Cookeville Cafe' events at our Corinth Town Hall. All the musicians have donated their time to entertain and we thank them very much for this sharing. We also want to thank our attentive & generous audiences as well as those who have helped with the refreshment end of things & who have brought goodies to the events when they came and for those that have helped to set up and clean up, no small task! For this successful endeavor is now the main fundraiser for the historical society. This next event will be the 7th of this first winter season for the "Cookeville Cafe' Music & Talent Series" at the town hall. After a short break in June the summer Cafe' and open museums will continue along with music as well. This was enjoyed by many this year and Dave Richard, one of our music committee members is always enthusiastic about these summer events and is a big help in finding musicians willing to perform through the season, so we look forward to another summer of fellowship & music at our museums to go along with our extensive historical exhibits in our historic buildings packed with information & artifacts of Corinth of Yesteryear. So pass the word and don't miss this upcoming event! Thanks you all for your support and generosity! The CHS Music & Talent Committee; Norm Collette, Connie Longo, Dave Richard, Tony & Teddy Mason Sherwood, as well as the CHS Board of Directors. May 5, 2011
